MAJOR IWANTJA PUBLICATION LAUNCHED AT TARNANTHI 2023

The major new publication IWANTJA Iriti|Kwari|Titutjara: Then|Now|Always will be launched at the Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide, as part of Tarnanthi 2023. This beautifully illustrated bilingual hard cover book, published by Thames and Hudson, charts the history of Iwantja Arts, the culturally rich creative hub in Indlukana Community in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara of South Australia. Told through the artists' own words, the publication features Alec Baker, the late Kunmanara Peter Mungkuri, Tiger Yaltangki, Nellie Ngampa Coutlhard and many more.

Exhibition Launch •Meet the Artists Event

Clay will bring together solo presentations by the three artists working with clay, who have each developed a site-specific practice that speaks to hyper-localised experiences, histories, and connections to the land and clay.
