Beverly Knight and her curatorial and administrative team bring decades of collective knowledge and experience across contemporary Australian and international art, with particular expertise in Australian First Nation Art. 


Built through long-standing relationships with artists, art centres, leading collectors, museums and cultural institutions, this expertise informs the gallery's exhibitions and supports the development of significant private and public collections nationally and internationally.

Adriana Del Medico
GALLERY MANAGER & SENIOR CURATOR

Adriana Del Medico brings over 20 years of curatorial experience to her role as Gallery Manager and Senior Curator at Alcaston Gallery. Working closely with Director Beverly Knight, Adriana leads gallery operations and client relationships, drawing on her extensive industry knowledge to support artists and cultivate meaningful connections between artworks, collectors and institutions. Her historical knowledge of the artists represented by Alcaston Gallery has played a key role in the curation and delivery of numerous national and international exhibitions, as well as in providing trusted guidance to clients on acquisitions and collection development.

Kaitlyn Gibson
CURATOR — COLLECTIONS & LOGISTICS

Kaitlyn Gibson manages the gallery's consigned artworks and archival collection with exceptional care. She oversees artwork handling, logistics and exhibition coordination, ensuring the highest standards of care and collection management.

With experience working across remote community art centres, Kaitlyn brings a practiced understanding of Australian First Nations art. Her knowledge of artists, materials and studio practices informs the development and presentation of exhibitions, while her experience as a printer and studio assistant to acclaimed artists provides valuable insight into their practices and processes.

Lauren Brand
CURATOR

Lauren Brand brings extensive experience across commercial and public galleries and international arts projects to her role as Curator at Alcaston Gallery.Drawing on critical research, Lauren develops the contextual frameworks that inform the appreciation and presentation of Alcaston Gallery's artists and their practices, with particular attention to cultural, social and historical contexts.

Previously, Lauren developed research-led curatorial strategies for civic and private spaces across Australia and Asia, following an early career developing international human rights projects.


Saskia Yeung
CURATORIAL ASSISTANT

Saskia Yeung joined Alcaston Gallery in 2025 as Curatorial Assistant, bringing experience in gallery operations, curatorial practice and arts communications. Prior to joining Alcaston Gallery, Saskia worked as Marketing Assistant at the Melbourne Art Foundation and gained experience as a Gallery Assistant and Content Producer within the commercial gallery sector. 

At Alcaston Gallery, her role spans the spectrum of curatorial assistance, including administering the gallery’s online presence and broader gallery operations.


Sharon Matthews
ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Sharon Matthews has overseen the administrative and financial operations of Alcaston Gallery for many years, bringing extensive experience and a meticulous approach to the fiscal and periodic compliance. 

Working closely with the Director and curatorial team, Sharon manages accounts, financial administration and the organisational processes that support the gallery's artists, clients, exhibitions and operations. Her careful stewardship and attention to detail provide an essential foundation for the gallery's continued advancement and professional practice.


Alcaston Gallery's curatorial and administrative teams bring together expertise across curatorial practice, research, collections, logistics, gallery operations and administration, supporting the artists, collectors and institutions with whom the gallery works.

Alcaston Gallery is a proud member of the Art Galleries Association of Australia (AGAA), the representative body for Australian commercial art galleries in the primary visual arts market. AGAA membership is by invitation and subject to a rigorous peer review process assessing professional, ethical and financial standards.
