Alcaston Gallery's Curatorial and Administrative teams support the needs of artists and clients.
The founding Director Beverly Knight together with her dedicated curatorial team consisting of Gallery Manager & Senior Curator Adriana Del Medico, Curator - Collections & Logistics Kaitlyn Gibson, Curator - Exhibitions Lauren Brand and Curator - Online & Exhibitions Dr Wiebke Brix. The curatorial team is supported by our Accounts Manager, Sharon Matthews, and Office Manager, Ana Itsines.
Gallery Manager & Senior Curator Adriana Del Medico completed her Bachelor of Creative Arts and Post Graduate Diploma in Arts Management at the University of Melbourne; with nearly 20 years’ experience in contemporary art, specialising in First Nations art, she has contributed her knowledge, skills and experience in the curatorial support of numerous national and international exhibitions, projects and commissions. Her relationships with Alcaston Gallery clients is to ensure their needs are met together from personal contact with artists, which ensures our continued success, integrity and regard.
Our highly educated and experienced curatorial team manage the complexities of the real and virtual business of art together with our administration team who ensures our financial success and a day-to-day happy work environment. Volunteers and interns also play an important role with learning and the transferring of knowledge by our team.
