TUPPY NGINTJA GOODWIN WINS $100,000 HADLEY'S ART PRIZE 2022

Senior Pitjantjatjara artist Tuppy Ngintja Goodwin has been announced as WINNER of the prestigious $100,000 Hadley’s Art Prize 2022, Australia’s richest landscape prize, and is the first woman to win the $100,000 award since its inception in 2017.

MIRDIDINGKINGATHI JUWARNDA SALLY GABORI MAJOR SOLO SURVEY EXHIBITION

The major solo survey of paintings by the late incomparable Sally Gabori at the distinguished Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain in Paris, France has been received with worldwide praise and acclaim - and deservedly so! 

The landmark international exhibition was officially launched by the Prime Minister of Australia, The Honourable Anthony Albanese MP at the glamourous opening event held on Friday 1st July 2022. Following his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Mr Albanese spent an hour enjoying the exhibition and meeting members of the Gabori family, after which he offered a moving speech, paying homage to the extraordinary legacy of the late Sally Gabori, and the significant impact of her life and art on audiences worldwide.

MIRDIDINGKINGATHI JUWARNDA SALLY GABORI is on exhibition at the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain until 6 November 2022 - and we are excited to announce that this exhibition will travel to Milan, Italy for the Triennale di Milano from 17 February - 15 May 2023!

Mirdidingkingathi Juwarnda Sally Gabori feature on Living Black, NITV

NITV's Living Black program recently aired a feature program on the late Mirdidingkingathi Juwarnda Sally Gabori.

Including interviews with Alcaston Gallery Director and Agent for the Estate, Beverly Knight as well as Sally Gabori's family, including her daughters Dorothy, Amanda and Elsie Gabori, and her great-grand daughter Tori Juwarnda Wilson Gabori, Living Black's investigation details the recent battle to protect the artist's legacy and estate and celebrates Sally Gabori's significant exhibition in Paris.
