We are excited for the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF) to return to the Cairns Convention Centre from 25 - 28 July 2024 with this year's theme being 'Country Speaking'.

POTTER MUSEUM OF ART TO REOPEN IN 2025 WITH 65,000 YEARS: A SHORT HISTORY OF AUSTRALIAN ART
The University of Melbourne’s flagship art museum, the Potter Museum of Art ('The Potter') will reopen next year with a major exhibition entitled 65,000 Years: A Short History of Australian Art, which will present over 400 artworks celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art.

This NAIDOC Week 2024, Alcaston Gallery celebrates and recognises the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year's theme Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud celebrates the unyielding spirit of First Nations Australian communities and invites everyone to stand in solidarity, amplifying the voices that have long been silenced.
