Copyright of all images appearing on this site remains with the artist or copyright holder. No commercial or public use is to be made of any image appearing on this site, nor may they be modified, copied, distributed, transmited, displayed, performed, reproduced, published, licensed, commercially exploited, transfered, or sold unless expressly authorised in writing by us, or to the extent permitted by law, including the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) (Copyright Act).
Alcaston Gallery has a policy of not discounting works. We endeavour to have all artworks priced at the fairest retail price available. Alcaston Gallery is bound by the Australian Commercial Galleries Association industry standards, and the communities of the artists not to offer discounts on artworks.
Pricing & Refunds
All items on our website are offered for sale in good faith. However, instances may arise in which Alcaston Gallery will immediately withdraw an item from sale. Should Alcaston Gallery become aware of a pricing error, the item(s) will be withdrawn from sale and immediate action will be taken to rectify the mistake. Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.
Shipping and Delivery
Alcaston Gallery works with leading Australian and international logistics companies that specialise in transporting fine art. Shipping costs are NOT included in the online purchase price and will be determined on an individual basis. Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the artwork and your location.
Dispatch dates and shipping time frames vary and are influenced by a number of factors, including exhibition dates, shipping location, shipping options, and carrier. We will contact you after checkout to finalise all shipping fees, details, insurance, and other requirements.
Alcaston Gallery is committed to providing exceptional customer service. We endeavour to make sure that all artwork listed for sale on our website is available and pricing is true and correct. In the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order we will notify you within a reasonable time frame to arrange an agreeable alternative item or a full refund.
At the death of an artist Alcaston Gallery reserves the right to remove all artwork for sale by the artist out of respect for the artist’s family and community until such time as directed by their estate or the family mourning period has passed.
Alcaston Gallery provides documentation for all works purchased. If you require documentation to be reissued, there is a fee of $55 to $250 for this service. Documentation will only be reissued to the original purchaser and the document will be clearly marked as a Copy.
When purchasing from Alcaston Gallery your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology (128-bit SSL encryption is the industry standard).
