Alcaston Gallery Christmas Gifts Exhibition 2023•Limited edition PRINTS and WORKS ON PAPER
Alcaston Gallery Christmas Gifts Exhibition 2023 presents exceptional works on paper and limited edition prints from over thirty-five years of contemporary Australian First Nations art showcasing a selection of rare and special release works by important artists on exhibition at the Alcaston Gallery Exhibition Space, 84 William Street, Melbourne/Naarm from 29 November until 15 December 2023.
Artists who influenced the history of Australian art such as Ginger Riley Munduwalawala (c. 1936-2002), and Sally Gabori (c. 1924-2015), whilst known for their paintings, also rejoiced in the art of printmaking. Alcaston Gallery exhibited the Buku women artists including a print by the great Ms N. Marawili (c. 1939-2023) with a new and experimental print exhibition by the women of Buku at Alcaston Gallery in 2001, whilst the limited edition sugar lift etching prints were created by Barney Ellaga (c. 1941 – 2015) in a print master class at the Australian Print Workshop, Melbourne in 2000.
The exhibition artworks are presented in high quality bespoke archival frames, making perfect gifts for your family and friends (or for yourself!) this festive season that will be cherished for many years to come.

All sold artworks can be collected from the Alcaston Gallery Head Office, Level 3, 50 Market Street, Naarm/Melbourne during office hours (Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm) or Saturday 2nd December 2023, 11am-3pm from the Alcaston Gallery Exhibition Space, 84 William Street Naarm / Melbourne.
