Now showing at Queensland Art Gallery & Gallery of Modern Art is The 11th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art. Presented until 27 April 2025, the exhibition features seventy artists, collectives and projects from more than 30 countries - a gateway to the rapidly evolving artistic expression of Australia, Asia and the Pacific. SALLY GABORI IN ECHOES UNVIELED: ART BY FIRST NATIONS WOMEN FROM AUSTRALIAARTIZON MUSEUM, TOKYO, JAPAN24 JUNE - 21 SEPTEMBER 2025
ARTIZON Museum, Tokyo, Japan has announced its major forthcoming exhibition, Echoes Unveiled: Art by First Nations Women from Australia including major work by the late Mirdidingkingathi Juwarnda Sally Gabori. This exhibition will see work by two important women artists Sally Gabori and Yhonnie Scarce together again, after having exhibited together at the prestigious Venice Biennale 2013 in Personal Structures at the Palazzo Bembo, Venice.
Presented from 24 June - 21 September 2025, this exceptional exhibition will feature seven artists and one collective, the exhibition celebrates the diversity of contemporary artistic expressions and seeks to provide international audiences with a deeper understanding and awareness of female First Nations Artists from Australia.
