MAJOR EXHIBITION ANNOUNCEMENT | SHIRLEY MACNAMARA IN RISING VOICES: CONTEMPORARY ART FROM ASIA AUSTRALIA AND THE PACIFIC
Opening 16 May at the prestigious V&A Museum, London, Rising Voices: Contemporary art from Asia, Australia and the Pacific presents the work of 40 leading artists in a landmark collaboration between the V&A and the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGoMA), Brisbane. Foregrounding First Nations perspectives and diverse artistic approaches, the exhibition includes rare works by pioneering creatives including Alcaston Gallery Artist Shirley Macnamara, whose artistic legacy was honoured in 2019/2020 with a major retrospective exhibition, Dyinala, Nganinya, at QAGoMA.
Rising Voices: Contemporary Art from Asia, Australia and the Pacific will be presented from 16 May 2026 - 10 January 2027 at the V&A Museum, London.

Local pick up and delivery is to be organised at least two weeks ahead of closure; interstate and international clients, please be sure make your purchase and delivery booking by 1 December 2025 to ensure delivery by Christmas.

MAJOR EXHIBITION ANNOUNCEMENT | OF THIS EARTH: TRANSFORMING CULTURE AND COUNTRY THROUGH FIRST NATIONS CERAMICS, NGA TOURING EXHIBITION, CAIRNS ART GALLERY, QUEENSLAND
The National Gallery of Australia's major touring exhibition, Of This Earth: Transforming Culture and Country Through First Nations Ceramics, begins it's national tour in March 2026 at Cairns Art Gallery, Queensland, presented from 21 March - 14 June 2026. The exhibition is set to tour important regional galleries 2026-2028.
Transforming culture and Country through First Nations ceramics, Of This Earth highlights cultural continuity and contemporary artistic expression through works of art drawn from the National Collection. The exhibition features over thirty key works of art by twenty-eight significant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.
NOW OPEN | EXPOSITION GENERALE, FONDATION CARTIER POUR L'ART CONTEMPORAIN PARIS, FRANCE
The exceptional new premesies of Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain, situated near the world famous Louvre Museum, is now open. Marking this monumental move and location, designed by architect Jean Nouvel, is the inaugural exhibition, Exposition Générale.
This major exhibition features works from the Foundation Cartier collection, including a significant painting by Mirdidingkingathi Juwarnda Sally Gabori (c.1924-2015) (pictured).
Exposition Générale is presented until 23 August 2026.
NOW OPEN | CULTURAL MEDICINE: THE ART OF INDIGENOUS HEALING, MEDICAL HISTORY MUSEUM, UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE
Presented at the University of Melbourne's Medical History Museum, Cultural Medicine: The Art of Indigenous Healing, follows the premise of Tjukurrpa (Dreaming) to look at traditional Indigenous healing practice as past, present and future simultaneously. It presents examples of healing practice from the many distinct and varied First Nations communities throughout Australia through contemporary art practice.
This exhibition debuts the Museum's recent acquisitions by artists who, in their work, generously share their extensive knowledge of bush medicine and healing practices. Showcased in this powerful exhibition is the work of Ada Pula Beasley, who maps significant bush medicine flowers in bloom on the rolling sand dunes of her Country after rain.
