    Tiger Yaltangki (1973-2024): Black + White - Rock 'N' Roll

    Tiger Yaltangki: Black + White - Rock 'N' Roll presents a significant and rare body of drawings in paint by the late Tiger Yaltangki (1973–2024), exhibited alongside one of the last of his signature guitar sculptures.

    Bold self-portraits featuring his Malpa Wiru (Good Friends) and interpretations of Anangu Mamu (Spirit Beings), these striking monochromatic works encapsulate the artist’s love of rock ’n’ roll and daily life in Indulkana, South Australia, distilling his iconic visual language to its essential forms: line, gesture, and pure, visceral energy.

    Tiger Yaltangki’s immense and enduring legacy has left an indelible mark on the Australian contemporary art landscape as an artist, and a person, larger than life.
