Alcaston Gallery is delighted to present the AFL Footy in Aranda Country Award 2024, an exhibition of new pots by the HERMANNSBURG POTTERS, coinciding with the highly anticipated annual Dreamtime at G AFL football match; the Indigenous Round clash between Australian Football League greats, Essendon and Richmond.

Showcasing new hand bulit ceramic pots, the exhibition is a celebration of the love and passion for AFL in Aranda Country, the Aranda lands at Mparntwe (Alice Springs) and surrounding areas of the Central Australia region of the Northern Territory.

Honouring national teams alongside local heroes, the exhibition acknowledges the enduring connection between Australia's national sport and Central Australia.

AFL Footy in Aranda Country Award 2024 will be on exhibition at the Alcaston Gallery Exhibition Space from 8 May - 31 May.
