Alcaston Gallery can provide formal insurance valuations and asset appraisals.
The Director Beverly Knight is approved to value Aboriginal paintings, ceramics, sculpture, textiles and artefacts, including Hermannsburg watercolours for the Australian Government’s Cultural Gifts program (a formal tax incentives for the Arts scheme).

Valuations can be obtained by submitting copies of all documentation in hard copy form to:

A valuation is not an authentication of an object or work. Authentication is an entirely different process.
In many instances the work can be valued from photographs, but preferably work should be sighted.

record of date purchased
catalogue reference numbers
photographs
