Alcaston Gallery can provide formal insurance valuations and asset appraisals.
The Director Beverly Knight is approved to value Aboriginal paintings, ceramics, sculpture, textiles and artefacts, including Hermannsburg watercolours for the Australian Government’s Cultural Gifts program (a formal tax incentives for the Arts scheme).

Valuations can be obtained by submitting copies of all documentation in hard copy form to:

  • catalogue reference numbers
  • photographs

    Alcaston Gallery can provide:

  • Valuations for benefaction under the Cultural Gifts Program and Cultural Bequests Program for the Taxation incentives for the Arts Scheme. (If you would like to know more about this taxation benefit – contact us or visit the Cultural Gifts website

Individual valuations are provided for a fee from AUD$110. Valuations of whole collections are charged as per quote.
