Indian photographer Amit Mehra has been awarded Photographer of the Year-Asia for his photographic body of work India A Timeless Celebration by the Sagamihara Museum, Japan along with an invitation of a solo show at the museum itself from 9th October to 26th October, 2009.
Alcaston Gallery held an exhibition of Amit Mehra's vibrant photographs in 2006.

This is the second museum show for this body of work after the February 2009 showing at the Gabarron Museum, Arco Art Fair, Spain.
A book detailing this stunning body of work has been published with the same title and has now moved into its second edition within 4 months (feb'09) of its launch(Nov'08).
