Gary Lee's exhibition Fashion Tatts opened on 6 March, and is part of the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2012 Cultural Program from 1 - 31 March.
On Tuesday morning the Herald Sun took the opportunity for a photo shoot at Alcaston Gallery, and we were grateful to have the support of some fine tattooed folk from local Fitzroy businesses who were happy to step in front of the camera. |

A big thank you to Danny Inglesas and Kris Reid, both from Heading Out, Fitzroy, and India Darling from Kinki Gerlinki who joined Luella DeVille from Voodoo Ink for the shoot around Gary Lee's photographic series of Jesse (from the Love not War series). Many of Jesse's tattoo's are the work of renowned tattooist and visual artist, eX de Medici.
Gary Lee: Fashion Tatts was officially opened by Melbourne-based artist and writer Virginia Fraser on Wednesday 7 March. Here are a selection of images from the event.
