Alcaston Gallery proudly presents the first solo exhibition by Ernabella artist, Tjunkaya Tapaya, from 14 February - 9 March 2012.
The exhibition, featuring new paintings and tjanpi weavings, is a culmination of over three decades of artistic practice and Tjunkaya's more recent turn towards painting Tjukurpa.
The exhibition was officially opened on Tuesday 14 February, and we were delighted to have Anthropologist Ute Eickelkamp present to share her knowledge of the artist as well as the art and design from Ernabella.
