Judy Manany moved to Elcho Island in 1981, and is currently one of the most active and versatile artists working at the art centre, her art ranging from wood carving, painting and weaving fibre sculpture.
In all her artwork, Judy shows the unique ability to transfer traditional techniques and designs into a contemporary context, complete with an air of freshness and exuberance.
