15 November - 2 December 2011

Judy Manany moved to Elcho Island in 1981, and is currently one of the most active and versatile artists working at the art centre, as her art ranges from wood carving, painting and weaving fibre sculpture. In all her artwork, Judy shows the unique ability to transfer traditional techniques and designs into a contemporary context, complete with an air of freshness and exuberance.

Alcaston Gallery is thrilled to show this wonderful exhibition of sculpture and painting by Judy Manany, in her first ever solo exhibition.
